- A Consumer Credit Report is a record of your credit facilities as contributed by members of the Credit Bureau. It includes credit card accounts or loans that you may have, the balances, and how regularly you make your payments. It also shows if any action has been taken against you because of unpaid bills.
- The information that you will find on a Consumer Credit Report will normally comprise of the following:
- Personal information, including date of birth, nationality, postal code
- Credit facilities and repayments
- Enquiries made by Credit Bureau members
- Records on default, bankruptcy & litigation
- Credit counseling (if any)

- What is a Credit Bureau?
- A Credit Bureau is a repository of factual information that contains credit application and repayment records. This information is meant to help Bureau members (credit providers) to determine if the consumer applying for credit has the ability and propensity to pay. The objective of a Credit Bureau is to assist lenders with more relevant and extensive repayment information and to enable lenders to make better and more objective decisions quickly.
- How do I purchase a Consumer Credit Report?
- You can go to the following branches to purchase your report. You should have with you a completed Consumer Credit Report application form and your original photo ID with NRIC number (such as NRIC) or passport (for foreigners) for verification. If you
are authorising another person to purchase your Report on your behalf, please fill in the 'Authorisation to Purchase on behalf' section of the application form.
He/she should bring along both his/her and your original photo ID with NRIC number (such as NRIC) or passport (for foreigners) for verification.
